Consistancy, thou art not my name...
Jan. 25th, 2023 06:00 am... The moving continues on! We did a quick run yesterday, and got a couple of short shelves, some of the stuff that went with it, some kitchen stuff, ect. We didn't unpack anything, just grabbed some fastfood and headed back, as the spouse had some work to still do, and I'd be going out today to meet the delivery person with our new bed (our old broke, and rather than get new then move it, dealt for about 2-3 months).
Today's stuff to take includes a tote of bathroom stuff, some of the housemate's stuff, some baking things I won't immediately need, and I'm hoping to fit some foot stools and a furuniture foot stool. The housemate may come as well, but they are feeling unwell, as their sib didn't pick up their meds like they said they would (yes, I will be taking care of that today if it isn't handled by the time I head back).
So while waiting for the delivery guy, I'm going to be unloading the car, trying to find a home for some of the bathroom stuff (we need to get an over the toliet shelving thing, I think), running the dishwasher for garage kitchen stuff, cleaning the dusty shelves we moved last night, and just starting to poke at things.
Oh, and if I can, meet the neighbors and figure out which darned meter is theirs so I can transfer electric. Our landlord is less than useful.
